Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! | 2Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart-- |
They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. | 3they do no wrong but follow his ways. |
You have commanded us To keep Your precepts diligently. | 4You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed. |
Oh, that my ways were directed To keep Your statutes! | 5Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! |
Then I would not be ashamed, When I look into all Your commandments. | 6Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands. |
I will praise You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments. | 7I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. |
I will keep Your statutes; Oh, do not forsake me utterly! | 8I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me. |
How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. | 9How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. |
With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! | 10I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. |

Blessed are You, O LORD! Teach me Your statutes. | 12Praise be to you, LORD; teach me your decrees. |
With my lips I have declared All the judgments of Your mouth. | 13With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. |
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches. | 14I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. |
I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways. | 15I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. |

My soul breaks with longing For Your judgments at all times. | 20My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times. |
You rebuke the proud—the cursed, Who stray from Your commandments. | 21You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed, those who stray from your commands. |
Remove from me reproach and contempt, For I have kept Your testimonies. | 22Remove from me their scorn and contempt, for I keep your statutes. |
Princes also sit and speak against me, But Your servant meditates on Your statutes. | 23Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees. |
Your testimonies also are my delight And my counselors. | 24Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors. |
My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word. | 25I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word. |
I have declared my ways, and You answered me; Teach me Your statutes. | 26I gave an account of my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees. |
Make me understand the way of Your precepts; So shall I meditate on Your wonderful works. | 27Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds. |
My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word. | 28My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. |

I cling to Your testimonies; O LORD, do not put me to shame! | 31I hold fast to your statutes, LORD; do not let me be put to shame. |
I will run the course of Your commandments, For You shall enlarge my heart. | 32I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding. |
Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, And I shall keep it to the end. | 33Teach me, LORD, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end. |
Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart. | 34Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart. |
Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it. | 35Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. |
Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness. | 36Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. |
Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way. | 37Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word. |
Establish Your word to Your servant, Who is devoted to fearing You. | 38Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared. |
Turn away my reproach which I dread, For Your judgments are good. | 39Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good. |
Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness. | 40How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life. |
Let Your mercies come also to me, O LORD— Your salvation according to Your word. | 41May your unfailing love come to me, LORD, your salvation, according to your promise; |
So shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me, For I trust in Your word. | 42then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word. |
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, For I have hoped in Your ordinances. | 43Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws. |
So shall I keep Your law continually, Forever and ever. | 44I will always obey your law, for ever and ever. |
And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts. | 45I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. |
I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings, And will not be ashamed. | 46I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame, |
And I will delight myself in Your commandments, Which I love. | 47for I delight in your commands because I love them. |
My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments, Which I love, And I will meditate on Your statutes. | 48I reach out for your commands, which I love, that I may meditate on your decrees. |

Their heart is as fat as grease, But I delight in Your law. | 70Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law. |
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes. | 71It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. |
The law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of coins of gold and silver. | 72The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold. |
Your hands have made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments. | 73Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands. |

My eyes fail from searching Your word, Saying, “When will You comfort me?” | 82My eyes fail, looking for your promise; I say, "When will you comfort me?" |
For I have become like a wineskin in smoke, Yet I do not forget Your statutes. | 83Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget your decrees. |
How many are the days of Your servant? When will You execute judgment on those who persecute me? | 84How long must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors? |
