| 27For who is greater, the one who is seated at the table, or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is seated at the table? | 61Then the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him, "Before a rooster crows today, you will deny me three times." | 61At that moment the Lord turned and looked at Peter. | 66When day came, the council of the elders of the people gathered together, both the chief priests and the experts in the law. | 67and said, "If you are the Christ, tell us." But he said to them, "If I tell you, you will not believe, | 67and they said, “Tell us, are you the Messiah?” But he replied, “If I tell you, you won’t believe me. |
| 68and if I ask you, you will not answer. | 68 And if I ask you a question, you won’t answer. |
| 69But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God." | 69 But from now on the Son of Man will be seated in the place of power at God’s right hand. ” |
| 70So they all said, "Are you the Son of God, then?" He answered them, "You say that I am." | 70They all shouted, “So, are you claiming to be the Son of God?” And he replied, “You say that I am.” |
| 71Then they said, "Why do we need further testimony? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips!" | 71“Why do we need other witnesses?” they said. “We ourselves heard him say it.” |
