David sustains his faith by prayerFor in the day of trouble The phrase "in the day of trouble" refers to times of distress or adversity. The Hebrew word for "trouble" is "tsarah," which conveys a sense of affliction or anguish. Historically, this could relate to any number of challenges faced by the Israelites, from personal struggles to national crises. Theologically, it underscores the reality that believers will face difficulties, yet it also implies a divine timing—God's intervention is assured "in the day" of such troubles.
