1I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea, | 1I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: |
2that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also. | 2That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also. |
