| 15When he returned after receiving the kingdom, he summoned these slaves to whom he had given the money. | 22The king said to him, 'I will judge you by your own words, you wicked slave! If you knew I was a harsh man, collecting what I didn’t deposit and reaping what I didn’t sow, |

| 45Then Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were selling things there, | 45He went into the temple and began to throw out those who were selling, |
| 46saying to them, "It is written, 'My house will be a house of prayer,' but you have turned it into a den of robbers!" | 46and he said, “It is written, my house will be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves! ” |
| 47Jesus was teaching daily in the temple courts. The chief priests and the experts in the law and the prominent leaders among the people were seeking to assassinate him, | 47Every day he was teaching in the temple. The chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people were looking for a way to kill him, |
| 48but they could not find a way to do it, for all the people hung on his words. | 48but they could not find a way to do it, because all the people were captivated by what they heard. |
