Berean Interlinear Bible The Lamb and the 144,000 1Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I looked), καὶ (and) ἰδοὺ (behold), τὸ (the) Ἀρνίον (Lamb) ἑστὸς (was standing) ἐπὶ (upon) τὸ (-) ὄρος (Mount) Σιών (Zion), καὶ (and) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him) ἑκατὸν (one hundred) τεσσεράκοντα (forty) τέσσαρες (four) χιλιάδες (thousand), ἔχουσαι (having) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) αὐτοῦ (of Him) καὶ (and) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) τοῦ (of the) Πατρὸς (Father) αὐτοῦ (of Him) γεγραμμένον (having been written) ἐπὶ (on) τῶν (the) μετώπων (foreheads) αὐτῶν (of them). 2καὶ (And) ἤκουσα (I heard) φωνὴν (a voice) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), ὡς (as) φωνὴν (the sound) ὑδάτων (of waters) πολλῶν (many), καὶ (and) ὡς (as) φωνὴν (the sound) βροντῆς (of thunder) μεγάλης (loud). καὶ (And) ἡ (the) φωνὴ (voice) ἣν (that) ἤκουσα (I heard), ὡς (was like that) κιθαρῳδῶν (of harpists) κιθαριζόντων (harping) ἐν (with) ταῖς (the) κιθάραις (harps) αὐτῶν (of them). 3Καὶ (And) ᾄδουσιν (they are singing) ‹ὡς› (as) ᾠδὴν (a song) καινὴν (new) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (the) θρόνου (throne), καὶ (and) ἐνώπιον (before) τῶν (the) τεσσάρων (four) ζῴων (living creatures), καὶ (and) τῶν (the) πρεσβυτέρων (elders). καὶ (And) οὐδεὶς (no one) ἐδύνατο (was able) μαθεῖν (to learn) τὴν (the) ᾠδὴν (song), εἰ (if) μὴ (not) αἱ (the) ἑκατὸν (one hundred) τεσσεράκοντα (forty) τέσσαρες (four) χιλιάδες (thousand) οἱ (-) ἠγορασμένοι (having been redeemed) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth). 4οὗτοί (These) εἰσιν (are) οἳ (they who) μετὰ (with) γυναικῶν (women) οὐκ (not) ἐμολύνθησαν (have not been defiled); παρθένοι (pure) γάρ (for) εἰσιν (they are), οὗτοι (these) οἱ (-) ἀκολουθοῦντες (following) τῷ (the) Ἀρνίῳ (Lamb) ὅπου (wherever) ἂν (-) ὑπάγῃ (He shall go). οὗτοι (These) ἠγοράσθησαν (have been redeemed) ἀπὸ (out from) τῶν (-) ἀνθρώπων (men) ἀπαρχὴ (as firstfruits) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God) καὶ (and) τῷ (to the) Ἀρνίῳ (Lamb). 5καὶ (And) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) στόματι (mouth) αὐτῶν (of them) οὐχ (not) εὑρέθη (was found) ψεῦδος (a lie); ἄμωμοί (blameless) εἰσιν (they are).a The Three Angels and Babylon's Fall 6Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἄλλον (another) ἄγγελον (angel) πετόμενον (flying) ἐν (in) μεσουρανήματι (mid-heaven), ἔχοντα (having) εὐαγγέλιον (the glad tidings) αἰώνιον (everlasting) εὐαγγελίσαι (to preach) ἐπὶ (upon) τοὺς (those) καθημένους (dwelling) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) πᾶν (every) ἔθνος (nation) καὶ (and) φυλὴν (tribe) καὶ (and) γλῶσσαν (tongue) καὶ (and) λαόν (people), 7λέγων (saying) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud), “Φοβήθητε (Fear) τὸν (-) Θεὸν (God), καὶ (and) δότε (give) αὐτῷ (Him) δόξαν (glory), ὅτι (because) ἦλθεν (has come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour) τῆς (of the) κρίσεως (judgment) αὐτοῦ (of Him). καὶ (And) προσκυνήσατε (worship) τῷ (the One) ποιήσαντι (having made) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth), καὶ (and) θάλασσαν (sea), καὶ (and) πηγὰς (springs) ὑδάτων (of waters).” 8Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel), ⇔ δεύτερος (a second) ἠκολούθησεν (followed), λέγων (saying), “Ἔπεσεν (Fallen), ἔπεσεν (Fallen is) Βαβυλὼν (Babylon) ἡ (the) μεγάλη (great),b ἣ (who) ἐκ (of) τοῦ (the) οἴνου (wine) τοῦ (-) θυμοῦ (of wrath) τῆς (for the) πορνείας (immorality) αὐτῆς (of her), πεπότικεν (she has given to drink) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (Gentiles).” 9Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel), τρίτος (a third), ἠκολούθησεν (followed) αὐτοῖς (them), λέγων (saying) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud), “Εἴ (If) τις (anyone) προσκυνεῖ (worships) τὸ (the) θηρίον (beast) καὶ (and) τὴν (the) εἰκόνα (image) αὐτοῦ (of it), καὶ (and) λαμβάνει (receives) χάραγμα (a mark) ἐπὶ (on) τοῦ (the) μετώπου (forehead) αὐτοῦ (of him), ἢ (or) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) χεῖρα (hand) αὐτοῦ (of him), 10καὶ (also) αὐτὸς (he) πίεται (will drink) ἐκ (of) τοῦ (the) οἴνου (wine) τοῦ (of the) θυμοῦ (anger) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), τοῦ (-) κεκερασμένου (having been mixed) ἀκράτου (undiluted) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ποτηρίῳ (cup) τῆς (of the) ὀργῆς (wrath) αὐτοῦ (of Him); καὶ (and) βασανισθήσεται (he will be tormented) ἐν (in) πυρὶ (fire) καὶ (and) θείῳ (brimstone), ἐνώπιον (before) ἀγγέλων (the angels) ἁγίων (holy), καὶ (and) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (the) Ἀρνίου (Lamb). 11καὶ (And) ὁ (the) καπνὸς (smoke) τοῦ (of the) βασανισμοῦ (torment) αὐτῶν (of them) εἰς (to) αἰῶνας (ages) αἰώνων (of ages) ἀναβαίνει (goes up); καὶ (and) οὐκ (not) ἔχουσιν (have) ἀνάπαυσιν (rest) ἡμέρας (day) καὶ (and) νυκτός (night) οἱ (those) προσκυνοῦντες (worshiping) τὸ (the) θηρίον (beast) καὶ (and) τὴν (the) εἰκόνα (image) αὐτοῦ (of it), καὶ (and) εἴ (if) τις (anyone) λαμβάνει (receives) τὸ (the) χάραγμα (mark) τοῦ (of the) ὀνόματος (name) αὐτοῦ (of it).” 12Ὧδε (Here) ἡ (the) ὑπομονὴ (endurance) τῶν (of the) ἁγίων (saints) ἐστίν (is), οἱ (those) τηροῦντες (keeping) τὰς (the) ἐντολὰς (commandments) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) πίστιν (faith) Ἰησοῦ (of Jesus). 13Καὶ (And) ἤκουσα (I heard) φωνῆς (a voice) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), λεγούσης (saying) “Γράψον (Write), ‘Μακάριοι (Blessed are) οἱ (the) νεκροὶ (dead) οἱ (-) ἐν (in) Κυρίῳ (the Lord) ἀποθνῄσκοντες (dying) ἀπ’ (from) ἄρτι (now on).’” “Ναί (Yes),” λέγει (says) τὸ (the) Πνεῦμα (Spirit), “Ἵνα (so that) ἀναπαήσονται (they will rest) ἐκ (from) τῶν (the) κόπων (labors) αὐτῶν (of them); τὰ (-) γὰρ (for) ἔργα (the works) αὐτῶν (of them) ἀκολουθεῖ (follow) μετ’ (with) αὐτῶν (them).” The Harvest of the Earth 14Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I looked), καὶ (and) ἰδοὺ (behold), νεφέλη (a cloud) λευκή (white), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) νεφέλην (cloud) καθήμενον (is sitting One) ὅμοιον (like) υἱὸν (the Son) ἀνθρώπου (of Man),c ἔχων (having) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) κεφαλῆς (head) αὐτοῦ (of Him) στέφανον (a crown) χρυσοῦν (golden), καὶ (and) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) χειρὶ (hand) αὐτοῦ (of Him) δρέπανον (a sickle) ὀξύ (sharp). 15Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel) ἐξῆλθεν (came out) ἐκ (of) τοῦ (the) ναοῦ (temple), κράζων (crying) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud) τῷ (to the One) καθημένῳ (sitting) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) νεφέλης (cloud), “Πέμψον (Put forth) τὸ (the) δρέπανόν (sickle) σου (of You) καὶ (and) θέρισον (reap), ὅτι (because) ἦλθεν (has come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour) θερίσαι (to reap), ὅτι (because) ἐξηράνθη (has ripened) ὁ (the) θερισμὸς (harvest) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth).” 16καὶ (And) ἔβαλεν (swung) ὁ (the One) καθήμενος (sitting) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) νεφέλης (cloud) τὸ (the) δρέπανον (sickle) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth), καὶ (and) ἐθερίσθη (was harvested) ἡ (the) γῆ (earth). 17Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel) ἐξῆλθεν (came) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (the) ναοῦ (temple) τοῦ (-) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven), ἔχων (having) καὶ (also) αὐτὸς (he) δρέπανον (a sickle) ὀξύ (sharp). 18Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel) ἐξῆλθεν (came) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (the) θυσιαστηρίου (altar), ὁ (-) ἔχων (having) ἐξουσίαν (authority) ἐπὶ (over) τοῦ (the) πυρός (fire), καὶ (and) ἐφώνησεν (he called) φωνῇ (in a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud) τῷ (to the one) ἔχοντι (having) τὸ (the) δρέπανον (sickle) τὸ (-) ὀξὺ (sharp), λέγων (saying), “Πέμψον (Put forth) σου (your) τὸ (-) δρέπανον (sickle) τὸ (-) ὀξὺ (sharp), καὶ (and) τρύγησον (gather) τοὺς (the) βότρυας (clusters) τῆς (from the) ἀμπέλου (vine) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth), ὅτι (because) ἤκμασαν (have fully ripened) αἱ (the) σταφυλαὶ (grapes) αὐτῆς (of it).” 19Καὶ (And) ἔβαλεν (put forth) ὁ (the) ἄγγελος (angel) τὸ (the) δρέπανον (sickle) αὐτοῦ (of him) εἰς (to) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth), καὶ (and) ἐτρύγησεν (gathered) τὴν (the) ἄμπελον (vine) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth), καὶ (and) ἔβαλεν (cast them) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) ληνὸν (winepress) τοῦ (of the) θυμοῦ (wrath) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) τὸν (-) μέγαν (great).
