1Shepherd of Israel, listen! The one who leads Joseph like a flock, the one enthroned on the cherubim, display your glory. 1לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ אֶל־ שֹׁשַׁנִּ֑ים עֵד֖וּת לְאָסָ֣ף מִזְמֽוֹר׃ רֹ֘עֵ֤ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל ׀ הַאֲזִ֗ינָה נֹהֵ֣ג כַּצֹּ֣אן יוֹסֵ֑ף יֹשֵׁ֖ב הַכְּרוּבִ֣ים הוֹפִֽיעָה׃
2Reveal your power before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, then come to our rescue.2לִפְנֵ֤י אֶפְרַ֨יִם ׀ וּבִנְיָ֘מִ֤ן וּמְנַשֶּׁ֗ה עוֹרְרָ֥ה אֶת־ גְּבֽוּרָתֶ֑ךָ וּלְכָ֖ה לִישֻׁעָ֣תָה לָּֽנוּ׃
3God, restore us, show your favor and deliver us.3אֱלֹהִ֥ים הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ וְהָאֵ֥ר פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃
4LORD God of the Heavenly Armies, when will your smoldering anger toward your people's prayers cease? 4יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָא֑וֹת עַד־ מָתַ֥י עָ֝שַׁ֗נְתָּ בִּתְפִלַּ֥ת עַמֶּֽךָ׃
5You fed them tears as their food, and caused them to drink a full measure of tears.5הֶ֭אֱכַלְתָּם לֶ֣חֶם דִּמְעָ֑ה וַ֝תַּשְׁקֵ֗מוֹ בִּדְמָע֥וֹת שָׁלִֽישׁ׃
6You have set us at strife against our neighbors and our enemies deride us.6תְּשִׂימֵ֣נוּ מָ֭דוֹן לִשְׁכֵנֵ֑ינוּ וְ֝אֹיְבֵ֗ינוּ יִלְעֲגוּ־ לָֽמוֹ׃
7God of the Heavenly Armies, restore us and show your favor, so we may be delivered.7אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָא֣וֹת הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ וְהָאֵ֥ר פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃
8You uprooted a vine from Egypt, and drove out nations to transplant it.8גֶּ֭פֶן מִמִּצְרַ֣יִם תַּסִּ֑יעַ תְּגָרֵ֥שׁ גּ֝וֹיִ֗ם וַתִּטָּעֶֽהָ׃
9You cleared the ground so that its roots grew and filled the land.9פִּנִּ֥יתָ לְפָנֶ֑יהָ וַתַּשְׁרֵ֥שׁ שָׁ֝רָשֶׁ֗יהָ וַתְּמַלֵּא־ אָֽרֶץ׃
10Mountains were covered by its shadows, and the mighty cedars by its branches.10כָּסּ֣וּ הָרִ֣ים צִלָּ֑הּ וַ֝עֲנָפֶ֗יהָ אַֽרְזֵי־ אֵֽל׃
11Its branches spread out to the Mediterranean Sea and its shoots to the Euphrates River.11תְּשַׁלַּ֣ח קְצִירֶ֣הָ עַד־ יָ֑ם וְאֶל־ נָ֝הָ֗ר יֽוֹנְקוֹתֶֽיהָ׃
12Why did you break down its walls so that those who pass by pluck its fruits? 12לָ֭מָּה פָּרַ֣צְתָּ גְדֵרֶ֑יהָ וְ֝אָר֗וּהָ כָּל־ עֹ֥בְרֵי דָֽרֶךְ׃
13Wild boars of the forest gnaw at it, and creatures of the field feed on it.13יְכַרְסְמֶ֣נָּֽה חֲזִ֣יר מִיָּ֑עַ‪‬ר וְזִ֖יז שָׂדַ֣י יִרְעֶֽנָּה׃
14God of the Heavenly Armies, return! Look down from heaven and see. Show care toward this vine.14אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָאוֹת֮ שֽׁ֫וּב־ נָ֥א הַבֵּ֣ט מִשָּׁמַ֣יִם וּרְאֵ֑ה וּ֝פְקֹ֗ד גֶּ֣פֶן זֹֽאת׃
15The root that your right hand planted, the shoot that you tended for yourself,15וְ֭כַנָּה אֲשֶׁר־ נָטְעָ֣ה יְמִינֶ֑ךָ וְעַל־ בֵּ֝֗ן אִמַּ֥צְתָּה לָּֽךְ׃
16was burned with fire, cut off, and destroyed on account of your rebuke.16שְׂרֻפָ֣ה בָאֵ֣שׁ כְּסוּחָ֑ה מִגַּעֲרַ֖ת פָּנֶ֣יךָ יֹאבֵֽדוּ׃
17May you support the man at your right hand; the son of man whom you have raised for yourself.17תְּֽהִי־ יָ֭דְךָ עַל־ אִ֣ישׁ יְמִינֶ֑ךָ עַל־ בֶּן־ אָ֝דָ֗ם אִמַּ֥צְתָּ לָּֽךְ׃
18Then we will not turn away from you. Restore us, so we can call upon your name.18וְלֹא־ נָס֥וֹג מִמֶּ֑ךָּ תְּ֝חַיֵּ֗נוּ וּבְשִׁמְךָ֥ נִקְרָֽא׃
19God of hosts, restore to us the light of your favor. Then we'll be delivered.19יְה֘וָ֤ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָא֣וֹת הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נוּ הָאֵ֥ר פָּ֝נֶ֗יךָ וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעָה׃
