| 18Truly, truly, I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself and walked where you wanted; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” | 18"I assure you: When you were young, you would tie your belt and walk wherever you wanted. | 20Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them. | 23Because of this, the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. However, Jesus did not say that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you?” | 23So this report spread to the brothers that this disciple would not die. | 25There are many more things that Jesus did.
