1After these things, Jesus made Himself apparent again to the disciples at (upon) the sea of Tiberias. And He made Himself apparent in this way: 2They were together; Simon Peter; and Thomas called Didymus; and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee; and the sons of Zebedee; and two others of His disciples. 3Simon Peter says to them, I am going to fish. They say to him, We also come with you. They went out and went up into the boat, and in that there night they caught nothing.

4And early morning already having come, Jesus stood on the shore; the disciples however did not know that it was Jesus. 5Jesus says to them, Children, do you have any food? They answered Him, No. 6And He said to them, Cast the net unto the right side of the boat and you will find [some]. They cast therefore and they were not able to haul it in from the multitude of fish. 7The disciple therefore whom Jesus loved says to Peter, It is the Lord. Therefore Simon Peter having heard that it is the Lord, put on his outer garment, for he was naked (poorly clothed, possibly only wearing his underwear), and he cast himself into the sea. 8And the other disciples came in the boat, for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away (about a 100yds), dragging the net with the fishes (ichthyon, latin-piscium).

9When therefore they got out onto the land, they see a fire of coals lying, and little fish (opsarion) lying upon it, and bread. 10Jesus says to them, Bring [some] from out of the fish that you have caught now. 11Therefore Simon Peter went up and dragged the net onto the land, full of great fish, a hundred fifty three; and though there were so many, the net was not torn.

12Jesus says to them, Come have breakfast (any meal before supper). However none dared of the disciples to ask Him, Who are You? knowing that it was the Lord. 13Jesus comes and takes the bread and gives it to them, and the little fish likewise. 14This is already (now) the third time Jesus made Himself apparent to the disciples, having been raised from out of the dead.

15When therefore they had eaten breakfast, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon son of Jonah, Do you love (agapas) Me more than these? He says to Him, Yes, Lord; You know that I have affection (love, philo) for You. He says to him, Feed (bosko not poimen for shepherd) My lambs. 16He says to him again a second time, Simon son of Jonah, Do you love (agapas) Me? He says to Him, Yes, Lord; You know that I have affection (love, philo) for You. He says to him, Shepherd (Poimaine) My sheep. 17He says to him the third time, Simon son of Jonah, Do you have affection (love, phileis) for Me? Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, Do you have affection for Me? And he said to him, Lord, You know all things; You know that I have affection (love, philo) for You. Jesus says to him, Feed My sheep.

18Truly, truly I say to you, When you were younger, you dressed yourself, and walked where you wanted; however when you shall be old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you, and will bring you where you do not want. 19And this He said signifying by what death he will glorify God. And having said this, He says to him, Follow Me.

20Peter having turned, sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had reclined at (in) the supper upon His bosom (chest), and said, Lord, who is it who is betraying You? 21Peter, then having seen him, says to Jesus, Lord, and what about this man? 22Jesus says to him, If I want him to remain until I come, what is it to you? You follow Me! 23This word therefore went out unto the brothers, That the disciple does not die. However Jesus did not say to him, That he does not die; but, If I want him to remain until I come, what is it to you?

24This is the disciple bearing witness concerning these things and the one having written these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

25And there are also many other things that Jesus did which if they should be written one by one, I suppose that not even the world itself to have space for the books to be written.
