NLT Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationInternational Standard Version
Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth!1Shout praise to God all the earth!
Sing about the glory of his name! Tell the world how glorious he is.2Sing praise about the glory of his name. Make his praise glorious.
Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! Your enemies cringe before your mighty power.3Say to God: "How awesome are your works! Because of your great strength your enemies cringe before you."
Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.” Interlude4The whole earth worships you. They sing praise to you. They sing praise to your name. Interlude
Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people!5Come and see the awesome works of God on behalf of human beings:
He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him.6He turned the sea into dry land. Israel crossed the river on foot; let us rejoice in him.
For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance. Interlude7He rules by his power forever, his eyes watching over the nations. Do not let the rebellious exalt themselves. Interlude
Let the whole world bless our God and loudly sing his praises.8Bless our God, people, and let the sound of his praise be heard.
Our lives are in his hands, and he keeps our feet from stumbling.9He gives us life and does not permit our feet to slip.
You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver.10For you, God, tested us, to purify us like fine silver.
You captured us in your net and laid the burden of slavery on our backs.11You have led us into a trap and set burdens on our backs.
Then you put a leader over us. We went through fire and flood, but you brought us to a place of great abundance.12You caused men to ride over us. You brought us through fire and water, but you led us to abundance.
Now I come to your Temple with burnt offerings to fulfill the vows I made to you—13I will come to your house with burnt offerings. I will fulfill my vows to you
yes, the sacred vows that I made when I was in deep trouble.14that my lips uttered and that my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.
That is why I am sacrificing burnt offerings to you— the best of my rams as a pleasing aroma, and a sacrifice of bulls and male goats. Interlude15I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat, along with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams. I will offer bulls along with goats. Interlude
Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me.16Come and listen, all of you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me.
For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.17I called aloud to him and praised him with my tongue.
If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.18Were I to cherish iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not listen to me.
But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer.19Surely God has heard, and he paid attention to my prayers.
Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me.20Blessed be God, who did not turn away my prayers nor his gracious love from me.
