| 1In you, LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. | 1In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed. |
| 2In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me; turn your ear to me and save me. | 2In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me. |
| 3Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. | 3Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress. |
| 4Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel. | 4Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man, |

| 13May my accusers perish in shame; may those who want to harm me be covered with scorn and disgrace. | 13Let those who are adversaries of my soul be ashamed and consumed; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, who seek to injure me. |

| 20Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. | 20You who have shown me many troubles and distresses Will revive me again, And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth. |
