4But you even undermine piety and hinder devotion to God. | 4But you even undermine the fear of God and hinder meditation before Him. |
5Your sin prompts your mouth; you adopt the tongue of the crafty. | 5For your iniquity instructs your mouth, and you choose the language of the crafty. |

18what the wise have declared, hiding nothing received from their ancestors | 18what was declared by wise men and was not concealed from their fathers, |

20All his days the wicked man suffers torment, the ruthless man through all the years stored up for him. | 20A wicked man writhes in pain all his days; only a few years are reserved for the ruthless. |
