NET Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
In you, O LORD, I have taken shelter! Never let me be humiliated! 1In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed.
Vindicate me by rescuing me! Listen to me! Deliver me! 2In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me.
Be my protector and refuge, a stronghold where I can be safe! For you are my high ridge and my stronghold. 3Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.
My God, rescue me from the power of the wicked, from the hand of the cruel oppressor! 4Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man,
For you give me confidence, O Lord; O LORD, I have trusted in you since I was young. 5For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth.
I have leaned on you since birth; you pulled me from my mother's womb. I praise you continually. 6By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother's womb; My praise is continually of You.
Many are appalled when they see me, but you are my secure shelter. 7I have become a marvel to many, For You are my strong refuge.
I praise you constantly and speak of your splendor all day long. 8My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long.
Do not reject me in my old age! When my strength fails, do not abandon me! 9Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.
For my enemies talk about me; those waiting for a chance to kill me plot my demise. 10For my enemies have spoken against me; And those who watch for my life have consulted together,
They say, "God has abandoned him. Run and seize him, for there is no one who will rescue him!" 11Saying, "God has forsaken him; Pursue and seize him, for there is no one to deliver."
O God, do not remain far away from me! My God, hurry and help me! 12O God, do not be far from me; O my God, hasten to my help!
May my accusers be humiliated and defeated! May those who want to harm me be covered with scorn and disgrace! 13Let those who are adversaries of my soul be ashamed and consumed; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, who seek to injure me.
As for me, I will wait continually, and will continue to praise you. 14But as for me, I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more.
I will tell about your justice, and all day long proclaim your salvation, though I cannot fathom its full extent. 15My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And of Your salvation all day long; For I do not know the sum of them.
I will come and tell about the mighty acts of the sovereign LORD. I will proclaim your justice--yours alone. 16I will come with the mighty deeds of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of Your righteousness, Yours alone.
O God, you have taught me since I was young, and I am still declaring your amazing deeds. 17O God, You have taught me from my youth, And I still declare Your wondrous deeds.
Even when I am old and gray, O God, do not abandon me, until I tell the next generation about your strength, and those coming after me about your power. 18And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.
Your justice, O God, extends to the skies above; you have done great things. O God, who can compare to you? 19For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?
Though you have allowed me to experience much trouble and distress, revive me once again! Bring me up once again from the depths of the earth! 20You who have shown me many troubles and distresses Will revive me again, And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
Raise me to a position of great honor! Turn and comfort me! 21May You increase my greatness And turn to comfort me.
I will express my thanks to you with a stringed instrument, praising your faithfulness, O my God! I will sing praises to you accompanied by a harp, O Holy One of Israel! 22I will also praise You with a harp, Even Your truth, O my God; To You I will sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.
My lips will shout for joy! Yes, I will sing your praises! I will praise you when you rescue me! 23My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed.
All day long my tongue will also tell about your justice, for those who want to harm me will be embarrassed and ashamed. 24My tongue also will utter Your righteousness all day long; For they are ashamed, for they are humiliated who seek my hurt.
