| 1You godly ones, shout for joy because of the LORD! It is appropriate for the morally upright to offer him praise. | 1Rejoice in the LORD, righteous ones; for the praise of the upright is beautiful. |
| 2Give thanks to the LORD with the harp! Sing to him to the accompaniment of a ten-stringed instrument! | 2With the lyre, give thanks to the LORD; with the ten stringed harp, play music to him; |
| 3Sing to him a new song! Play skillfully as you shout out your praises to him! | 3with a new song, sing to him; with shouts of joy, play skillfully. |
| 4For the LORD's decrees are just, and everything he does is fair. | 4For the word of the LORD is upright; and all his works are done in faithfulness. |
