| 1David's Psalm of praise. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. | 1A Davidic hymn. I exalt You, my God the King, and praise Your name forever and ever. |
| 2Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. | 2I will praise You every day; I will honor Your name forever and ever. |
| 3Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. | 3Yahweh is great and is highly praised; His greatness is unsearchable. |
| 4One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. | 4One generation will declare Your works to the next and will proclaim Your mighty acts. |
| 5I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works. | 5I will speak of Your splendor and glorious majesty and Your wonderful works. |

| 13Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. | 13Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom; Your rule is for all generations. The LORD is faithful in all His words and gracious in all His actions. |
| 14The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. | 14The LORD helps all who fall; He raises up all who are oppressed. |
| 15The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. | 15All eyes look to You, and You give them their food at the proper time. |
