Let the whole earth shout joyfully to God!1For the choir director. A Song. A Psalm. Shout joyfully to God, all the earth;
Sing about the glory of his name; make his praise glorious.2Sing the glory of His name; Make His praise glorious.
Say to God, "How awe-inspiring are your works! Your enemies will cringe before you because of your great strength.3Say to God, "How awesome are Your works! Because of the greatness of Your power Your enemies will give feigned obedience to You.
The whole earth will worship you and sing praise to you. They will sing praise to your name." Selah4"All the earth will worship You, And will sing praises to You; They will sing praises to Your name." Selah.
Come and see the wonders of God; his acts for humanity are awe-inspiring.5Come and see the works of God, Who is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men.
He turned the sea into dry land, and they crossed the river on foot. There we rejoiced in him.6He turned the sea into dry land; They passed through the river on foot; There let us rejoice in Him!
He rules forever by his might; he keeps his eye on the nations. The rebellious should not exalt themselves. Selah7He rules by His might forever; His eyes keep watch on the nations; Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
Bless our God, you peoples; let the sound of his praise be heard.8Bless our God, O peoples, And sound His praise abroad,
He keeps us alive and does not allow our feet to slip.9Who keeps us in life And does not allow our feet to slip.
For you, God, tested us; you refined us as silver is refined.10For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined.
You lured us into a trap; you placed burdens on our backs.11You brought us into the net; You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins.
You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us out to abundance.12You made men ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water, Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.
I will enter your house with burnt offerings; I will pay you my vows13I shall come into Your house with burnt offerings; I shall pay You my vows,
that my lips promised and my mouth spoke during my distress.14Which my lips uttered And my mouth spoke when I was in distress.
I will offer you fattened sheep as burnt offerings, with the fragrant smoke of rams; I will sacrifice bulls with goats. Selah15I shall offer to You burnt offerings of fat beasts, With the smoke of rams; I shall make an offering of bulls with male goats. Selah.
Come and listen, all who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me.16Come and hear, all who fear God, And I will tell of what He has done for my soul.
I cried out to him with my mouth, and praise was on my tongue.17I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.
If I had been aware of malice in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.18If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear;
However, God has listened; he has paid attention to the sound of my prayer.19But certainly God has heard; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.
Blessed be God! He has not turned away my prayer or turned his faithful love from me.20Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer Nor His lovingkindness from me.
