Alive with Christ
(Colossians 2:6–23)

1You also did He make alive, when ye were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2in which ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the authority of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience; 3among whom we also all once lived in the desires of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest; 4but God, being rich in mercy, on account of His great love wherewith He loved us, 5even when we were dead in our offenses, made us alive with Christ (by grace ye have been saved), 6and raised us up with Him, and made us sit with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus; 7that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8For by grace ye have been saved through faith: and this, not of yourselves, it is the gift of God: 9not of works, lest any one should boast; 10for we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God before prepared, that we should walk in them.

One in Christ
(Philippians 2:1–4)

11Wherefore, remember that ye, the gentiles in flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision in flesh made by hand, 12that at that time ye were apart from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. 13But now, in Christ Jesus, ye who were once afar off were made nigh in the blood of Christ. 14For He is our peace, Who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of the partition, 15having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments expressed in decrees, that He might make the two one new man in Himself, making peace, 16and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby; 17and, coming, He proclaimed the Gospel of peace to you who were afar off, and peace to those who were near; 18because through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

Christ Our Cornerstone
(1 Corinthians 3:10–15; 1 Peter 2:1–8)

19Accordingly, therefore, ye are no longer strangers and sojourners; but ye are fellow-citizens of the saints and of the house-hold of God; 20having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the chief corner-stone; 21in Whom all the building, fitly framed together, is growing up into a holy temple in the Lord; 22in Whom ye also are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
