1The LORD said to Moses, | 1The LORD spoke to Moses, " |
2“Give these instructions to the people of Israel: The offerings you present as special gifts are a pleasing aroma to me; they are my food. See to it that they are brought at the appointed times and offered according to my instructions. | 2Command the Israelites and say to them: Be sure to present to Me at its appointed time My offering and My food as My fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Me. |
3“Say to the people: This is the special gift you must present to the LORD as your daily burnt offering. You must offer two one-year-old male lambs with no defects. | 3And say to them: This is the fire offering you are to present to the LORD:" Each day present two unblemished year-old male lambs as a regular burnt offering. |
4Sacrifice one lamb in the morning and the other in the evening. | 4Offer one lamb in the morning and the other lamb at twilight, |
5With each lamb you must offer a grain offering of two quarts of choice flour mixed with one quart of pure oil of pressed olives. | 5along with two quarts of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with a quart of olive oil from crushed olives. |
6This is the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai as a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. | 6It is a regular burnt offering established at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the LORD. |
7Along with it you must present the proper liquid offering of one quart of alcoholic drink with each lamb, poured out in the Holy Place as an offering to the LORD. | 7The drink offering is to be a quart with each lamb. Pour out the offering of beer to the LORD in the sanctuary area. |
8Offer the second lamb in the evening with the same grain offering and liquid offering. It, too, is a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. The Sabbath Offerings | 8Offer the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering as in the morning. It is a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD." |
9“On the Sabbath day, sacrifice two one-year-old male lambs with no defects. They must be accompanied by a grain offering of four quarts of choice flour moistened with olive oil, and a liquid offering. | 9On the Sabbath day present two unblemished year-old male lambs, four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering. |
10This is the burnt offering to be presented each Sabbath day, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its accompanying liquid offering. The Monthly Offerings | 10It is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering." |
11“On the first day of each month, present an extra burnt offering to the LORD of two young bulls, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs, all with no defects. | 11At the beginning of each of your months present a burnt offering to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old--all unblemished-- |
12These must be accompanied by grain offerings of choice flour moistened with olive oil—six quarts with each bull, four quarts with the ram, | 12with six quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each bull, four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for the ram, |
13and two quarts with each lamb. This burnt offering will be a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. | 13and two quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each lamb. It is a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the LORD. |
14You must also present a liquid offering with each sacrifice: two quarts of wine for each bull, a third of a gallon for the ram, and one quart for each lamb. Present this monthly burnt offering on the first day of each month throughout the year. | 14Their drink offerings are to be two quarts of wine with each bull, one and a third quarts with the ram, and one quart with each male lamb. This is the monthly burnt offering for all the months of the year. |
15“On the first day of each month, you must also offer one male goat for a sin offering to the LORD. This is in addition to the regular burnt offering and its accompanying liquid offering. Offerings for the Passover | 15And one male goat is to be offered as a sin offering to the LORD, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its drink offering." |
16“On the fourteenth day of the first month, you must celebrate the LORD’s Passover. | 16The Passover to the LORD comes in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month. |
17On the following day—the fifteenth day of the month—a joyous, seven-day festival will begin, but no bread made with yeast may be eaten. | 17On the fifteenth day of this month there will be a festival; unleavened bread is to be eaten for seven days. |
18The first day of the festival will be an official day for holy assembly, and no ordinary work may be done on that day. | 18On the first day there is to be a sacred assembly; you are not to do any daily work. |
19As a special gift you must present a burnt offering to the LORD—two young bulls, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs, all with no defects. | 19Present a fire offering, a burnt offering to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old. Your animals are to be unblemished. |
20These will be accompanied by grain offerings of choice flour moistened with olive oil—six quarts with each bull, four quarts with the ram, | 20The grain offering with them is to be of fine flour mixed with oil; offer six quarts with each bull and four quarts with the ram. |
21and two quarts with each of the seven lambs. | 21Offer two quarts with each of the seven lambs |
22You must also offer a male goat as a sin offering to purify yourselves and make yourselves right with the LORD. | 22and one male goat for a sin offering to make atonement for yourselves. |
23Present these offerings in addition to your regular morning burnt offering. | 23Offer these with the morning burnt offering that is part of the regular burnt offering. |
24On each of the seven days of the festival, this is how you must prepare the food offering that is presented as a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. These will be offered in addition to the regular burnt offerings and liquid offerings. | 24You are to offer the same food each day for seven days as a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. It is to be offered with its drink offering and the regular burnt offering. |
25The seventh day of the festival will be another official day for holy assembly, and no ordinary work may be done on that day. Offerings for the Festival of Harvest | 25On the seventh day you are to hold a sacred assembly; you are not to do any daily work." |
26“At the Festival of Harvest, when you present the first of your new grain to the LORD, you must call an official day for holy assembly, and you may do no ordinary work on that day. | 26On the day of firstfruits, you are to hold a sacred assembly when you present an offering of new grain to the LORD at your Festival of Weeks; you are not to do any daily work. |
27Present a special burnt offering on that day as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. It will consist of two young bulls, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs. | 27Present a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old, |
28These will be accompanied by grain offerings of choice flour moistened with olive oil—six quarts with each bull, four quarts with the ram, | 28with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, six quarts with each bull, four quarts with the ram, |
29and two quarts with each of the seven lambs. | 29and two quarts with each of the seven lambs, |

31Prepare these special burnt offerings, along with their liquid offerings, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its accompanying grain offering. Be sure that all the animals you sacrifice have no defects. | 31Offer them with their drink offerings in addition to the regular burnt offering and its grain offering. Your animals are to be unblemished." |
