1Now Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,

1וּבִ֨נְיָמִ֔ן הוֹלִ֖יד אֶת־ בֶּ֣לַע בְּכֹר֑וֹ אַשְׁבֵּל֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וְאַחְרַ֖ח הַשְּׁלִישִֽׁי׃

2Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

2נוֹחָה֙ הָֽרְבִיעִ֔י וְרָפָ֖א הַחֲמִישִֽׁי׃ ס

3The sons of Bela were Addar, Gera, Abihud,

3וַיִּהְי֥וּ בָנִ֖ים לְבָ֑לַע אַדָּ֥ר וְגֵרָ֖א וַאֲבִיהֽוּד׃

4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,

4וַאֲבִישׁ֥וּעַ וְנַעֲמָ֖ן וַאֲחֽוֹחַ׃

5Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.

5וְגֵרָ֥א וּשְׁפוּפָ֖ן וְחוּרָֽם׃

6These are the sons of Ehud, who were the heads of the fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and who forced them to move to Manahath:

6וְאֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י אֵח֑וּד אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֞ם רָאשֵׁ֤י אָבוֹת֙ לְי֣וֹשְׁבֵי גֶ֔בַע וַיַּגְל֖וּם אֶל־ מָנָֽחַת׃

7Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera who forced them to move. He begot Uzza and Ahihud.

7וְנַעֲמָ֧ן וַאֲחִיָּ֛ה וְגֵרָ֖א ה֣וּא הֶגְלָ֑ם וְהוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ עֻזָּ֖א וְאֶת־ אֲחִיחֻֽד׃

8Also Shaharaim had children in the country of Moab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.

8וְשַׁחֲרַ֗יִם הוֹלִיד֙ בִּשְׂדֵ֣ה מוֹאָ֔ב מִן־ שִׁלְח֖וֹ אֹתָ֑ם חוּשִׁ֥ים וְאֶֽת־ בַּעֲרָ֖א נָשָֽׁיו׃

9By Hodesh his wife he begot Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,

9וַיּ֖וֹלֶד מִן־ חֹ֣דֶשׁ אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ אֶת־ יוֹבָב֙ וְאֶת־ צִבְיָ֔א וְאֶת־ מֵישָׁ֖א וְאֶת־ מַלְכָּֽם׃

10Jeuz, Sachiah, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of their fathers’ houses.

10וְאֶת־ יְע֥וּץ וְאֶת־ שָֽׂכְיָ֖ה וְאֶת־ מִרְמָ֑ה אֵ֥לֶּה בָנָ֖יו רָאשֵׁ֥י אָבֽוֹת׃

11And by Hushim he begot Abitub and Elpaal.

11וּמֵחֻשִׁ֛ים הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ אֲבִיט֖וּב וְאֶת־ אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃

12The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its towns;

12וּבְנֵ֣י אֶלְפַּ֔עַל עֵ֥בֶר וּמִשְׁעָ֖ם וָשָׁ֑מֶד ה֚וּא בָּנָ֣ה אֶת־ אוֹנ֔וֹ וְאֶת־ לֹ֖ד וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃

13and Beriah and Shema, who were heads of their fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove out the inhabitants of Gath.

13וּבְרִעָ֣ה וָשֶׁ֔מַע הֵ֚מָּה רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֔וֹת לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֖י אַיָּל֑וֹן הֵ֥מָּה הִבְרִ֖יחוּ אֶת־ י֥וֹשְׁבֵי גַֽת׃

14Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth,

14וְאַחְי֥וֹ שָׁשָׁ֖ק וִירֵמֽוֹת׃

15Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,

15וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה וַעֲרָ֖ד וָעָֽדֶר׃

16Michael, Ispah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

16וּמִיכָאֵ֧ל וְיִשְׁפָּ֛ה וְיוֹחָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י בְרִיעָֽה׃

17Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,

17וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה וּמְשֻׁלָּ֖ם וְחִזְקִ֥י וָחָֽבֶר׃

18Ishmerai, Jizliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

18וְיִשְׁמְרַ֧י וְיִזְלִיאָ֛ה וְיוֹבָ֖ב בְּנֵ֥י אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃

19Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,

19וְיָקִ֥ים וְזִכְרִ֖י וְזַבְדִּֽי׃

20Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,

20וֶאֱלִיעֵנַ֥י וְצִלְּתַ֖י וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃

21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

21וַעֲדָיָ֧ה וּבְרָאיָ֛ה וְשִׁמְרָ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י שִׁמְעִֽי׃

22Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,

22וְיִשְׁפָּ֥ן וָעֵ֖בֶר וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃

23Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,

23וְעַבְדּ֥וֹן וְזִכְרִ֖י וְחָנָֽן׃

24Hananiah, Elam, Antothijah,

24וַחֲנַנְיָ֥ה וְעֵילָ֖ם וְעַנְתֹתִיָּֽה׃

25Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

25וְיִפְדְיָ֥ה [ופניאל] (וּפְנוּאֵ֖ל) בְּנֵ֥י שָׁשָֽׁק׃

26Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,

26וְשַׁמְשְׁרַ֥י וּשְׁחַרְיָ֖ה וַעֲתַלְיָֽה׃

27Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

27וְיַעֲרֶשְׁיָ֧ה וְאֵלִיָּ֛ה וְזִכְרִ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יְרֹחָֽם׃

28These were heads of the fathers’ houses by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.

28אֵ֣לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֛וֹת לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם רָאשִׁ֑ים אֵ֖לֶּה יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ס

29Now the father of Gibeon, whose wife’s name was Maacah, dwelt at Gibeon.

29וּבְגִבְע֥וֹן יָשְׁב֖וּ אֲבִ֣י גִבְע֑וֹן וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ מַעֲכָֽה׃

30And his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,

30וּבְנ֥וֹ הַבְּכ֖וֹר עַבְדּ֑וֹן וְצ֥וּר וְקִ֖ישׁ וּבַ֥עַל וְנָדָֽב׃

31Gedor, Ahio, Zecher,

31וּגְד֥וֹר וְאַחְי֖וֹ וָזָֽכֶר׃

32and Mikloth, who begot Shimeah. They also dwelt alongside their relatives in Jerusalem, with their brethren.

32וּמִקְל֖וֹת הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ שִׁמְאָ֑ה וְאַף־ הֵ֗מָּה נֶ֧גֶד אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם עִם־ אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ ס

33Ner begot Kish, Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.

33וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת־ יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת־ מַלְכִּי־ שׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת־ אֲבִֽינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת־ אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃

34The son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begot Micah.

34וּבֶן־ יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל וּמְרִ֥יב בַּ֖עַל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ מִיכָֽה׃ ס

35The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.

35וּבְנֵ֖י מִיכָ֑ה פִּית֥וֹן וָמֶ֖לֶךְ וְתַאְרֵ֥עַ וְאָחָֽז׃

36And Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza.

36וְאָחָז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ יְהוֹעַדָּ֔ה וִיהֽוֹעַדָּ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־ עָלֶ֥מֶת וְאֶת־ עַזְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת־ זִמְרִ֑י וְזִמְרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ מוֹצָֽא׃

37Moza begot Binea, Raphah his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.

37וּמוֹצָ֖א הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ בִּנְעָ֑א רָפָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ אָצֵ֥ל בְּנֽוֹ׃

38Azel had six sons whose names were these: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

38וּלְאָצֵל֮ שִׁשָּׁ֣ה בָנִים֒ וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם עַזְרִיקָ֥ם ׀ בֹּ֙כְרוּ֙ וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה וְחָנָ֑ן כָּל־ אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י אָצַֽל׃

39And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

39וּבְנֵ֖י עֵ֣שֶׁק אָחִ֑יו אוּלָ֣ם בְּכֹר֔וֹ יְעוּשׁ֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וֶֽאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי׃

40The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor—archers. They had many sons and grandsons, one hundred and fifty in all. These were all sons of Benjamin.

40וַֽיִּהְי֣וּ בְנֵי־ א֠וּלָם אֲנָשִׁ֨ים גִּבֹּרֵי־ חַ֜יִל דֹּ֣רְכֵי קֶ֗שֶׁת וּמַרְבִּ֤ים בָּנִים֙ וּבְנֵ֣י בָנִ֔ים מֵאָ֖ה וַחֲמִשִּׁ֑ים כָּל־ אֵ֖לֶּה מִבְּנֵ֥י בִנְיָמִֽן׃ פ
