| 2"Command the Israelites: 'With regard to my offering, be sure to offer my food for my offering made by fire, as a pleasing aroma to me at its appointed time.' | 2“Command the people of Israel and say to them, ‘My offering, my food for my food offerings, my pleasing aroma, you shall be careful to offer to me at its appointed time.’ |
| 3You will say to them, 'This is the offering made by fire which you must offer to the LORD: two unblemished lambs one year old each day for a continual burnt offering. | 3And you shall say to them, This is the food offering that you shall offer to the LORD: two male lambs a year old without blemish, day by day, as a regular offering. |
| 4The first lamb you must offer in the morning, and the second lamb you must offer in the late afternoon, | 4The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; |
| 5with one-tenth of an ephah of finely ground flour as a grain offering mixed with one quarter of a hin of pressed olive oil. | 5also a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with a quarter of a hin of beaten oil. |
| 6It is a continual burnt offering that was instituted on Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD. | 6It is a regular burnt offering, which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD. |
| 7"'And its drink offering must be one quarter of a hin for each lamb. You must pour out the strong drink as a drink offering to the LORD in the holy place. | 7Its drink offering shall be a quarter of a hin for each lamb. In the Holy Place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the LORD. |
| 8And the second lamb you must offer in the late afternoon; just as you offered the grain offering and drink offering in the morning, you must offer it as an offering made by fire, as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. | 8The other lamb you shall offer at twilight. Like the grain offering of the morning, and like its drink offering, you shall offer it as a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. |
| 9"'On the Sabbath day, you must offer two unblemished lambs a year old, and two-tenths of an ephah of finely ground flour as a grain offering, mixed with olive oil, along with its drink offering. | 9“On the Sabbath day, two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, and its drink offering: |
| 10This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering. | 10this is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. |
| 11"'On the first day of each month you must offer as a burnt offering to the LORD two young bulls, one ram, and seven unblemished lambs a year old, | 11“At the beginnings of your months, you shall offer a burnt offering to the LORD: two bulls from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish; |
| 12with three-tenths of an ephah of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering for each bull, and two-tenths of an ephah of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering for the ram, | 12also three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, for each bull, and two tenths of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram; |
| 13and one-tenth of an ephah of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering for each lamb, as a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD. | 13and a tenth of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for every lamb; for a burnt offering with a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD. |
| 14For their drink offerings, include half a hin of wine with each bull, one-third of a hin for the ram, and one-fourth of a hin for each lamb. This is the burnt offering for each month throughout the months of the year. | 14Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and a quarter of a hin for a lamb. This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year. |
| 15And one male goat must be offered to the LORD as a purification offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering. | 15Also one male goat for a sin offering to the LORD; it shall be offered besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. |
| 16"'On the fourteenth day of the first month is the LORD's Passover. | 16“On the fourteenth day of the first month is the LORD’s Passover, |
| 17And on the fifteenth day of this month is the festival. For seven days bread made without yeast must be eaten. | 17and on the fifteenth day of this month is a feast. Seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten. |
| 18And on the first day there is to be a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work on it. | 18On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work, |
| 19"'But you must offer to the LORD an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs one year old; they must all be unblemished. | 19but offer a food offering, a burnt offering to the LORD: two bulls from the herd, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old; see that they are without blemish; |
| 20And their grain offering is to be of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil. For each bull you must offer three-tenths of an ephah, and two-tenths for the ram. | 20also their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil; three tenths of an ephah shall you offer for a bull, and two tenths for a ram; |
| 21For each of the seven lambs you are to offer one-tenth of an ephah, | 21a tenth shall you offer for each of the seven lambs; |
| 22as well as one goat for a purification offering, to make atonement for you. | 22also one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for you. |
| 23You must offer these in addition to the burnt offering in the morning which is for a continual burnt offering. | 23You shall offer these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a regular burnt offering. |
| 24In this manner you must offer daily throughout the seven days the food of the sacrifice made by fire as a sweet aroma to the LORD. It is to be offered in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering. | 24In the same way you shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. It shall be offered besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. |
| 25On the seventh day you are to have a holy assembly, you must do no regular work. | 25And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work. |
| 26"'Also, on the day of the first fruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the LORD during your Feast of Weeks, you are to have a holy assembly. You must do no ordinary work. | 26“On the day of the firstfruits, when you offer a grain offering of new grain to the LORD at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work, |
| 27But you must offer as the burnt offering, as a sweet aroma to the LORD, two young bulls, one ram, seven lambs one year old, | 27but offer a burnt offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD: two bulls from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old; |
| 28with their grain offering of finely ground flour mixed with olive oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram, | 28also their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, three tenths of an ephah for each bull, two tenths for one ram, |
| 29with one-tenth for each of the seven lambs, | 29a tenth for each of the seven lambs; |
| 30as well as one male goat to make an atonement for you. | 30with one male goat, to make atonement for you. |
| 31You are to offer them with their drink offerings in addition to the continual burnt offering and its grain offering--they must be unblemished. | 31Besides the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, you shall offer them and their drink offering. See that they are without blemish. |
