| 3For you bring him rich blessings; you place a golden crown on his head. | 3For you meet him with rich blessings; you place a crown of pure gold on his head. |
| 4He asked you to sustain his life, and you have granted him long life and an enduring dynasty. | 4He asked you for life, and you gave it to him--length of days forever and ever. |
| 5Your deliverance brings him great honor; you give him majestic splendor. | 5His glory is great through your victory; you confer majesty and splendor on him. |

| 11Yes, they intend to do you harm; they dream up a scheme, but they do not succeed. | 11Though they intend to harm you and devise a wicked plan, they will not prevail. |
| 12For you make them retreat when you shoot your arrows at them. | 12Instead, you will put them to flight when you ready your bowstrings to shoot at them. |
| 13Rise up, O LORD, in strength! We will sing and praise your power! | 13Be exalted, LORD, in your strength; we will sing and praise your might. |
