| 3For you bring him rich blessings; you place a golden crown on his head. | 3For You welcomed him with rich blessings; You placed on his head a crown of pure gold. |
| 4He asked you to sustain his life, and you have granted him long life and an enduring dynasty. | 4He asked You for life, and You granted it—length of days, forever and ever. |
| 5Your deliverance brings him great honor; you give him majestic splendor. | 5Great is his glory in Your salvation; You bestow on him splendor and majesty. |
| 6For you grant him lasting blessings; you give him great joy by allowing him into your presence. | 6For You grant him blessings forever; You cheer him with joy in Your presence. |

| 11Yes, they intend to do you harm; they dream up a scheme, but they do not succeed. | 11Though they intend You harm, the schemes they devise will not prevail. |
| 12For you make them retreat when you shoot your arrows at them. | 12For You will put them to flight when Your bow is trained upon them. |
| 13Rise up, O LORD, in strength! We will sing and praise your power! | 13Be exalted, O LORD, in Your strength; we will sing and praise Your power. |
