King James Bible | International Standard Version |
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. | 1At that time, you will say: "I will praise you, LORD, for although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away, and you have comforted me. |
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. | 2"Look! God—yes God—is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid. For the LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation." |
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. | 3You will draw water joyfully from the wells of salvation. And you will say at that time: |
And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. | 4"Give thanks to the LORD; call on his name. Make known his actions among the nations. Proclaim that his name is exalted. |
Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. | 5"Sing praises to the LORD, because he has acted gloriously, being made known in all the world. |
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. | 6Shout aloud, and sing for joy, you who live in Zion, because great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel." |
