King James Bible | NET Bible |
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. | 1At that time you will say: "I praise you, O LORD, for even though you were angry with me, your anger subsided, and you consoled me. |
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. | 2Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer." |
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. | 3Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of deliverance. |
And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. | 4At that time you will say: "Praise the LORD! Ask him for help! Publicize his mighty acts among the nations! Make it known that he is unique! |
Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. | 5Sing to the LORD, for he has done magnificent things, let this be known throughout the earth! |
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. | 6Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!" |
