| 7As for all who hate me, they whisper together against me; they desire to do me harm. | 7All who hate me whisper together about me; they imagine the worst for me. |
| 8They say, "Wickedness is entrenched in him. Once he is brought low, he will not rise again." | 8They say, “A deadly thing is poured out on him; he will not rise again from where he lies.” |
| 9As for my best friend, the one in whom I trusted, the one who ate my bread, even he has insulted me! | 9Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me. |
| 10But you, LORD, be gracious to me and raise me up so that I may pay them back! | 10But you, O LORD, be gracious to me, and raise me up, that I may repay them! |
| 11In this way I will know that you are pleased with me, and that my enemies will not shout in triumph over me. | 11By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me. |
| 12As for me, you will maintain my just cause, and you will cause me to stand in your presence forever. | 12But you have upheld me because of my integrity, and set me in your presence forever. |
| 13Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, from eternity to eternity. Amen and amen! | 13Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen. |
