| 20The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, | 20But the people who did not die in these plagues still refused to repent of their evil deeds and turn to God. They continued to worship demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—idols that can neither see nor hear nor walk! |
| 21nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. | 21And they did not repent of their murders or their witchcraft or their sexual immorality or their thefts. |
