| 1The LORD said to Abram: Go out from your land, your relatives, and your father's house to the land that I will show you. | 1Then the LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, your kindred, and your father’s household, and go to the land I will show you. |
| 2I will make you into a great nation, I will bless you, I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. | 2I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. |

| 20Then Pharaoh gave his men orders about him, and they sent him away with his wife and all he had. | 20Then Pharaoh gave his men orders concerning Abram, and they sent him away with his wife and all his possessions. |
