2 Kings 25:1
So in the ninth year of Zedekiah's reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his entire army. They encamped outside the city and built a siege wall all around it.

2 Chronicles 36:11
Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years.

And he did evil in the sight of the LORD his God and did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet, who spoke for the LORD.

Jeremiah 32:3
For Zedekiah king of Judah had imprisoned him, saying: "Why are you prophesying that the LORD says: 'Behold, I am about to hand this city over to the king of Babylon, and he will capture it.

Jeremiah 32:28
Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I am about to hand this city over to the Chaldeans and to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will capture it.

Jeremiah 32:29
And the Chaldeans who are fighting against this city will come in, set it on fire, and burn it, along with the houses of those who provoked Me to anger by burning incense to Baal on their rooftops and by pouring out drink offerings to other gods.

Jeremiah 34:22
Behold, I am going to give the command, declares the LORD, and I will bring them back to this city. They will fight against it, capture it, and burn it down. And I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant."

Jeremiah 37:1
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon named Zedekiah son of Josiah the king of Judah, and he reigned in place of Coniah son of Jehoiakim.

Jeremiah 37:2
He and his officers and the people of the land refused to obey the words that the LORD had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet.

Jeremiah 37:8
Then the Chaldeans will return and fight against this city. They will capture it and burn it down.'
