Characteristics of God's Promises

· Conditional and Unconditional: Some promises are unconditional, based solely on God's grace, while others require human response and obedience. For example, the promise of salvation requires faith in Jesus Christ.

· Fulfillment in Christ: Many Old Testament promises find their ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ, who is the "Yes" to all of God's promises (2 Corinthians 1:20).
