This exhortation reflects the assurance that God honors those who embrace humility, following the example set by Christ.

Isaiah 53: The prophetic anticipation of Christ's humility is vividly portrayed in Isaiah 53, often referred to as the "Suffering Servant" passage. The prophet describes the Messiah as "despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief" (Isaiah 53:3). Despite His suffering and apparent defeat, the passage concludes with the Servant's ultimate triumph and exaltation, as He "will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand" (Isaiah 53:10).

Hebrews 12:2: The author of Hebrews encourages believers to look to Jesus as the ultimate example of faith and endurance, "who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:2). This verse highlights the joy and glory that followed Christ's humble submission to the Father's will.

The humility of Christ, culminating in His sacrificial death and subsequent exaltation, serves as a model for believers. It calls Christians to a life of humility, service, and obedience, with the assurance that God will ultimately exalt those who follow in the footsteps of His Son.
