Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. | 1Hallelujah! How good it is to sing to our God, for praise is pleasant and lovely. |

Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; Sing praises on the harp to our God, | 7Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; play the lyre to our God, |
Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepares rain for the earth, Who makes grass to grow on the mountains. | 8who covers the sky with clouds, prepares rain for the earth, and causes grass to grow on the hills. |
He gives to the beast its food, And to the young ravens that cry. | 9He provides the animals with their food, and the young ravens, what they cry for. |

The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy. | 11The LORD values those who fear him, those who put their hope in his faithful love. |
Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! | 12Exalt the LORD, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion! |
For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you. | 13For he strengthens the bars of your city gates and blesses your children within you. |

He sends out His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. | 15He sends his command throughout the earth; his word runs swiftly. |
He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes; | 16He spreads snow like wool; he scatters frost like ashes; |
He casts out His hail like morsels; Who can stand before His cold? | 17he throws his hailstones like crumbs. Who can withstand his cold? |
He sends out His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow. | 18He sends his word and melts them; he unleashes his winds, and the water flows. |
He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel. | 19He declares his word to Jacob, his statutes and judgments to Israel. |
He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise the LORD! | 20He has not done this for every nation; they do not know his judgments. Hallelujah! |
