| 2From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. | 2From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. |
| 3For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. | 3For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. |
| 4I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. | 4I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. |
