New American Standard Bible 1995 | New Living Translation |
Then you will say on that day, "I will give thanks to You, O LORD; For although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, And You comfort me. | 1In that day you will sing: “I will praise you, O LORD! You were angry with me, but not anymore. Now you comfort me. |
"Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation." | 2See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.” |
Therefore you will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation. | 3With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! |
And in that day you will say, "Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted." | 4In that wonderful day you will sing: “Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! |
Praise the LORD in song, for He has done excellent things; Let this be known throughout the earth. | 5Sing to the LORD, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world. |
Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel. | 6Let all the people of Jerusalem shout his praise with joy! For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you.” |
