| 2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. | 2O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! |
| 3If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? | 3If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? |
| 4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. | 4But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. |
| 5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. | 5I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; |
