Psalm 108
HCSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleNew Living Translation
A song. A Davidic psalm. My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being. 1My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn. 2Wake up, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song.
I will praise You, LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. 3I will thank you, LORD, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.
For Your faithful love is higher than the heavens, and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. 4For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
God, be exalted above the heavens, and let Your glory be over the whole earth. 5Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.
Save with Your right hand and answer me so that those You love may be rescued. 6Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power.
God has spoken in His sanctuary:" I will triumph! I will divide up Shechem. I will apportion the Valley of Succoth. 7God has promised this by his holiness : “I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine, and Ephraim is My helmet; Judah is My scepter. 8Gilead is mine, and Manasseh, too. Ephraim, my helmet, will produce my warriors, and Judah, my scepter, will produce my kings.
Moab is My washbasin; I throw My sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia." 9But Moab, my washbasin, will become my servant, and I will wipe my feet on Edom and shout in triumph over Philistia.”
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 10Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will bring me victory over Edom?
God, haven't You rejected us? God, You do not march out with our armies. 11Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies?
Give us aid against the foe, for human help is worthless. 12Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless.
With God we will perform valiantly; He will trample our foes. 13With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes.
