| 20You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. | 20You sit and malign your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. |
| 21These things you have done, and I have been silent; you thought that I was one like yourself. But now I rebuke you and lay the charge before you. | 21You have done these things, and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you to your face. |
| 22“Mark this, then, you who forget God, lest I tear you apart, and there be none to deliver! | 22Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you: |
| 23The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!” | 23He who sacrifices a thank offering honors Me, and to him who rights his way, I will show the salvation of God.” |
