One of the key examples of recognition in the Bible is found in the relationship between God and His people. God recognizes those who are faithful to Him and acknowledges their devotion. In the Old Testament, God recognized the faithfulness of individuals like Noah, Abraham, and David, often rewarding them with blessings and covenants (Genesis 6:8-9; Genesis 12:1-3; 1 Samuel 13:14).

In the New Testament, Jesus Christ exemplifies recognition through His interactions with people. He acknowledges the faith of individuals, such as the centurion whose servant was healed (Matthew 8:10) and the Canaanite woman whose daughter was delivered from a demon (Matthew 15:28). Encouragement

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go" . This divine encouragement reassures Joshua of God's unwavering support as he leads the Israelites into the Promised Land.

In the New Testament, encouragement is a central theme in the teachings of Jesus and the apostles. Jesus encourages His disciples by promising them the Holy Spirit, who will be their Comforter and Guide (John 14:16-17). The Apostle Paul frequently writes about the importance of encouragement, urging believers to "encourage one another and build each other up" (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

Paul himself is a model of encouragement, as seen in his letters to the early churches. In Philippians 4:13, he shares his personal testimony of strength in Christ, saying, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength" . This statement serves to encourage believers to rely on Christ's power in their own lives.

The role of encouragement is also evident in the ministry of Barnabas, whose name means "son of encouragement." Barnabas is known for his supportive role in the early church, particularly in his mentorship of Paul and his advocacy for John Mark (Acts 9:26-27; Acts 15:36-39).
