Geder

Gederah, Gederoth, a wall

Smith's Bible Dictionary
Geder

(a wall). The king of Geder was one of the thirty-one kings who were overcome by Joshua on the west of the Jordan. (Joshua 12:13) (B.C. 1445.) It is possible that it may be the same place as the Geder named in (1 Chronicles 4:39)

ATS Bible Dictionary
Geder

The word signifies a wall, inclosure, fortified place; as do also the two names following, which are derived from it. Geder itself was an ancient Canaanitish place, in the plain of Judah, Joshua 12:13, and was probably the same with the following Gederah.

Easton's Bible Dictionary
A walled place, (Joshua 12:13), perhaps the same as Gederah or Gedor (15:58).
