1Benjamin’s first son was Bela, the second was Ashbel, the third was Aharah,1And Benjamin became the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,
2the fourth was Nohah, and the fifth was Rapha.2Nohah the fourth and Rapha the fifth.
3The sons of Bela were Addar, Gera, Abihud,3Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud,
4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
5Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.5Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.
6The sons of Ehud, leaders of the clans living at Geba, were exiled to Manahath.6These are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of fathers' households of the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them into exile to Manahath,
7Ehud’s sons were Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera, who led them into exile, was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.7namely, Naaman, Ahijah and Gera-- he carried them into exile; and he became the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8After Shaharaim divorced his wives Hushim and Baara, he had children in the land of Moab.8Shaharaim became the father of children in the country of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.
9His wife Hodesh gave birth to Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,9By Hodesh his wife he became the father of Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,
10Jeuz, Sakia, and Mirmah. These sons all became the leaders of clans.10Jeuz, Sachia, Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers' households.
11Shaharaim’s wife Hushim had already given birth to Abitub and Elpaal.11By Hushim he became the father of Abitub and Elpaal.
12The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham, Shemed (who built the towns of Ono and Lod and their nearby villages),12The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod, with its towns;
13Beriah, and Shema. They were the leaders of the clans living in Aijalon, and they drove out the inhabitants of Gath.13and Beriah and Shema, who were heads of fathers' households of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;
14Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth,14and Ahio, Shashak and Jeremoth.

28These were the leaders of the ancestral clans; they were listed in their genealogical records, and they all lived in Jerusalem. The Family of Saul28These were heads of the fathers' households according to their generations, chief men who lived in Jerusalem.
29Jeiel (the father of Gibeon) lived in the town of Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah,29Now in Gibeon, Jeiel, the father of Gibeon lived, and his wife's name was Maacah;
30and his oldest son was named Abdon. Jeiel’s other sons were Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,30and his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,
31Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah,31Gedor, Ahio and Zecher.
32and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimeam. All these families lived near each other in Jerusalem.32Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. And they also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem opposite their other relatives.
33Ner was the father of Kish. Kish was the father of Saul. Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malkishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.33Ner became the father of Kish, and Kish became the father of Saul, and Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.
34Jonathan was the father of Merib-baal. Merib-baal was the father of Micah.34The son of Jonathan was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal became the father of Micah.
35Micah was the father of Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.35The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melech, Tarea and Ahaz.
36Ahaz was the father of Jadah. Jadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza.36Ahaz became the father of Jehoaddah, and Jehoaddah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza.
37Moza was the father of Binea. Binea was the father of Rephaiah. Rephaiah was the father of Eleasah. Eleasah was the father of Azel.37Moza became the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38Azel had six sons: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.38Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39Azel’s brother Eshek had three sons: the first was Ulam, the second was Jeush, and the third was Eliphelet.39The sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second and Eliphelet the third.
40Ulam’s sons were all mighty warriors and expert archers. They had many sons and grandsons—150 in all. All these were descendants of Benjamin.40The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons and grandsons, 150 of them. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
