Psalm 92
NKJV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionNew Living Translation
A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath day. It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;1It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High.
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night,2It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,
On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound.3accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument, a harp, and the melody of a lyre.
For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.4You thrill me, LORD, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done.
O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.5O LORD, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts.
A senseless man does not know, Nor does a fool understand this.6Only a simpleton would not know, and only a fool would not understand this:
When the wicked spring up like grass, And when all the workers of iniquity flourish, It is that they may be destroyed forever.7Though the wicked sprout like weeds and evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
But You, LORD, are on high forevermore.8But you, O LORD, will be exalted forever.
For behold, Your enemies, O LORD, For behold, Your enemies shall perish; All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.9Your enemies, LORD, will surely perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.10But you have made me as strong as a wild ox. You have anointed me with the finest oil.
My eye also has seen my desire on my enemies; My ears hear my desire on the wicked Who rise up against me.11My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents.
The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.12But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.
Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God.13For they are transplanted to the LORD’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.
They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,14Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.
To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.15They will declare, “The LORD is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!”
