New King James Version | New Living Translation |
A Psalm of David. LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? | 1Who may worship in your sanctuary, LORD? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? |
He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; | 2Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. |
He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; | 3Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. |
In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the LORD; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; | 4Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the LORD, and keep their promises even when it hurts. |
He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved. | 5Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever. |
