2So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. | 2The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. |

6For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” | 6for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve." |
7And I heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.” | 7And I heard the altar respond: "Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are your judgments." |
8Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. | 8The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. |
9And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory. | 9They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him. |
10Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. | 10The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. 15“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” | 15"Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed." |
16And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. | 16Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. |
