| 9For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory. | 9If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! |

| 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. | 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. |
| 18But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. | 18And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. |
