| 19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, | 19and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength. |
| 20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, | 20This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms |
| 21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: | 21far above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. |
| 22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, | 22And God put all things under Christ's feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things. |
| 23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. | 23Now the church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. |
