1A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof, the world and all who dwell therein. | 1The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the LORD; |
2For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. | 2for he laid its foundation on the seas and established it on the rivers. |
3Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place? | 3Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? |
4He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear deceitfully. | 4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not appealed to what is false, and who has not sworn deceitfully. |
