The Nature of the Son1Long ago God spokea to our ancestors by the prophetsb at different times and in different ways.c 2In these last days,a he has spoken to us by his Son. God has appointed him heir of all thingsb and made the universea c through him. 3The Son is the radianceA of God’s glory and the exact expressionB of his nature,a sustaining all things by his powerful word.b After making purification for sins,C he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.D c 4So he became superior to the angels, just as the name he inherited is more excellent than theirs.a The Son Superior to Angels5For to which of the angels did he ever say,
