1But on the first day of the week, in the very early morning while it was dark, Maryam Magdalitha came to the tomb and she saw the stone that had been removed from the tomb. 2And she ran and came to Shimeon Kaypha and to that other disciple whom Yeshua had loved, and she said to them, “They have taken away our Lord from the tomb, and I don't know where they have laid him.” 3Shimeon went out and that other disciple, and they came to the tomb. 4And they were both running together, but that disciple ran in front of Shimeon and he came first to the tomb. 5And he looked, gazing at the linens where they were lying, but he did not enter. 6Then Shimeon came after him and entered the tomb, gazing at the linens where they were lying, 7And a grave cloth, which had been bound about his head, not with the linens, but as it was wrapped and set on the side in one place. 8Then that other disciple entered, who came first to the tomb, and he stared and he believed. 9And those disciples departed again to their place.

10But they had not yet known from the scriptures that he was going to rise from the dead.

11But Maryam was standing at the tomb and was weeping, and while weeping she looked inside the tomb. 12And she saw two Angels in white sitting, one at his pillow, and one at the foot, where the body of Yeshua had been laid. 13And they were saying to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken away my Lord, and I don't know where they have laid him.” 14She said this and turned and saw Yeshua standing and she did not know that he was Yeshua. 15Yeshua said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping, and whom are you seeking?” But she thought he was the Gardener, and she said to him, “Sir, if you have taken him, tell me where you have laid him; I will go take him away.” 16Yeshua said to her, “Maryam.” And she turned and said to him in Judean Aramaic, “Rabbuli”, which is to say “Teacher.” 17Yeshua said to her. “Don't cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to join my Father, and go join my brothers and say to them that I ascend to join my Father and your Father, my God, and your God.” 18And Maryam Magdalitha came and announced to the disciples, “I have seen Our Lord”, and that he had said these things to her.

19But when it was evening of the first day of the week and the doors were barred where the disciples were staying, because of fear for the Judeans, Yeshua came and stood in their midst and he said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20He said this and he showed them his hands and his side and the disciples rejoiced because they saw Our Lord. 21But Yeshua said to them again, “Peace be with you. Just as my Father has sent me, I also am sending you.” 22When he had said these things, he breathed upon them and he said to them, “Receive The Spirit of Holiness.” 23“If you will forgive a man's sins, they will be forgiven him, and if you hold a man's, they will be held.”

24But Thoma, one of the twelve, who is called The Twin, he was not there when Yeshua had come. 25And the disciples were saying to him, “We have seen Our Lord”, but he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the places of the nails and I shall put my fingers in them, and reach my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

26And after eight days, again the disciples were inside and Thoma was with them and Yeshua came when the doors were barred; he stood in the center and he said to them, “Peace be with you.” 27And he said to Thoma, “Put your finger here and behold my hands and put your hand and reach into my side and do not be an unbeliever, but a believer.” 28And Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord, and my God.” 29Yeshua said to him, “Now that you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen me and have believed.”

30But Yeshua did many other signs before his disciples, which are not written in this scripture. 31But these things are also written that you may believe that Yeshua is The Messiah, the Son of God, and when you believe, you shall have eternal life in his name.
