1A Song. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, His holy mountain. 1שִׁ֥יר מִ֝זְמוֹר לִבְנֵי־ קֹֽרַח׃ גָּ֘ד֤וֹל יְהוָ֣ה וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד בְּעִ֥יר אֱ֝לֹהֵ֗ינוּ הַר־ קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃
2Beautiful in loftiness, the joy of all the earth, like the peaks of Zaphron [is] Mount Zion, the city of the great King. 2יְפֵ֥ה נוֹף֮ מְשׂ֪וֹשׂ כָּל־ הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ הַר־ צִ֭יּוֹן יַרְכְּתֵ֣י צָפ֑וֹן קִ֝רְיַ֗ת מֶ֣לֶךְ רָֽב׃
3God is in her citadels; He has shown Himself a fortress. 3אֱלֹהִ֥ים בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֶ֗יהָ נוֹדַ֥ע לְמִשְׂגָּֽב׃
4For behold, the kings assembled; they all advanced together. 4כִּֽי־ הִנֵּ֣ה הַ֭מְּלָכִים נֽוֹעֲד֑וּ עָבְר֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו׃
5They saw and were astounded; they fled in terror. 5הֵ֣מָּה רָ֭אוּ כֵּ֣ן תָּמָ֑הוּ נִבְהֲל֥וּ נֶחְפָּֽזוּ׃
6Trembling seized them there, anguish like a woman in labor. 6רְ֭עָדָה אֲחָזָ֣תַם שָׁ֑ם חִ֝֗יל כַּיּוֹלֵֽדָה׃
7With a wind from the east You wrecked the ships of Tarshish. 7בְּר֥וּחַ קָדִ֑ים תְּ֝שַׁבֵּ֗ר אֳנִיּ֥וֹת תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃
8As we have heard, so we have seen in the city of the LORD of Hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish her forever. Selah 8כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר שָׁמַ֨עְנוּ ׀ כֵּ֤ן רָאִ֗ינוּ בְּעִיר־ יְהוָ֣ה צְ֭בָאוֹת בְּעִ֣יר אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ אֱלֹ֘הִ֤ים יְכוֹנְנֶ֖הָ עַד־ עוֹלָ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃
9Within Your temple, O God, we contemplate Your loving devotion. 9דִּמִּ֣ינוּ אֱלֹהִ֣ים חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ בְּ֝קֶ֗רֶב הֵיכָלֶֽךָ׃
10Your name, O God, like Your praise, reaches to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness. 10כְּשִׁמְךָ֤ אֱלֹהִ֗ים כֵּ֣ן תְּ֭הִלָּתְךָ עַל־ קַצְוֵי־ אֶ֑רֶץ צֶ֝֗דֶק מָלְאָ֥ה יְמִינֶֽךָ׃
11Mount Zion is glad, the towns of Judah rejoice, on account of Your judgments. 11יִשְׂמַ֤ח ׀ הַר־ צִיּ֗וֹן תָּ֭גֵלְנָה בְּנ֣וֹת יְהוּדָ֑ה לְ֝מַ֗עַן מִשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃
12March around Zion, encircle her, count her towers, 12סֹ֣בּוּ צִ֭יּוֹן וְהַקִּיפ֑וּהָ סִ֝פְר֗וּ מִגְדָּלֶֽיהָ׃
13consider her ramparts, tour her citadels, that you may tell the next generation. 13שִׁ֤יתוּ לִבְּכֶ֨ם ׀ לְֽחֵילָ֗ה פַּסְּג֥וּ אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֑יהָ לְמַ֥עַן תְּ֝סַפְּר֗וּ לְד֣וֹר אַחֲרֽוֹן׃
14For this God [is] our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even until death. 14כִּ֤י זֶ֨ה ׀ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֱ֭לֹהֵינוּ עוֹלָ֣ם וָעֶ֑ד ה֖וּא יְנַהֲגֵ֣נוּ עַל־ מֽוּת׃
