New Living Translation | NET Bible |
Who may worship in your sanctuary, LORD? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill? | 1A psalm of David. LORD, who may be a guest in your home? Who may live on your holy hill? |
Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. | 2Whoever lives a blameless life, does what is right, and speaks honestly. |
Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends. | 3He does not slander, or do harm to others, or insult his neighbor. |
Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the LORD, and keep their promises even when it hurts. | 4He despises a reprobate, but honors the LORD's loyal followers. He makes firm commitments and does not renege on his promise. |
Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever. | 5He does not charge interest when he lends his money. He does not take bribes to testify against the innocent. The one who lives like this will never be upended. |
