New Living Translation | King James Bible |
1How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! | 1A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! |
2For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe. | 2It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; |
3Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the LORD has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting. | 3As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. |
